Subject: tucson innovative home tour

This weekend we're going on a field trip! The Tucson Innovative Home Tour is happening Saturday and Sunday. It's a self-paced, self-guided tour of homes and public spaces that demonstrate alternative technologies such as rainwater harvesting, solar and wind power, straw bale, rammed earth, living roofs, groovy architecture... great stuff! It's supposed to be geared toward practicality and low-cost, so it's not about seeing all this cool stuff that is so cool as to be unattainable to the average homeowner.

If you want to go with other Villagers, come to the McCulley home Saturday morning and we'll coordinate transportation. Say 9am.
You will need to purchase tickets ($5 per person, or $10 for a family). You can get tickets at lots of places around town, including Ike's on Speedway and the Book Stop on Campbell. Follow the link above to get the complete list of places selling tickets. |
