Hello Villagers!
World Care, a local Tucson charity (320 S. Wilmot), is collecting basic humanitarian aid supplies to send to SE Asia. They are looking for:
- NEW Basic First Aid (Absorbent Compress Dressing, Adhesive Bandages (Assorted Sizes), Adhesive Cloth Tape, Antibiotic Ointment/creams, Antiseptic Wipe Packets, Alcohol preps, Aspirin and Non-Aspirin, Non-Latex Sterile Gloves (Size Medium & Large), 1st Aid Scissors, 3" Roller Bandage, Sterile Gauze Pads 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4, Dermabond [medical wound glue], vitamins, stomach remedies, etc.)
- Hygiene items (soap, hand and face towels, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, etc.)
- NEW Plain (without logos) socks, sweat pants and sweat T-shirts, T-shirts for men, women & children
- Duct tape, basic tools (hammers, handsaws, screwdrivers, pliers, etc), non-electric can openers, utility knives, and flashlights with batteries
If you would like to drop off supplies at their warehouse (320 S. Wilmot), they are open 9am to 3pm today, tomorrow, and possibly Thursday.
