Lowlights:

Cramming my body into airline seats.
Forgetting my phone and the extra stress of that event.
Shucking oysters for hours on end.

Highlights:
God's beautiful creation.
More of God's beautiful creation.
The beauty and amazing color of dying leaves.
Derek's awesome phone hand off at the airport.
Making it through security with minutes to spare.
Sitting on the dock with my beloved watching the sun go down.
Getting lost in the beauty of what God has made.
Eating seafood at every meal for a week.
Eating fresh shucked oysters I shucked and grilled myself.
Waterfalls.
Shrimp and grits.
Wonderful North Carolina accents.
Hangin' with my hottie.
Turning left when the GPS says to go right.
The road to Pisgah.
Playing 'Horses and Graveyards' with Kathy.
The three hour tour.
Seafood Bisque at Clawsons.
Seeing the wild horses of Shackleford Island.
Driving down a mountain on a one lane road.
Giving my wife a great vacation.
Laughing at all the church names as we drove to Beaufort.
Graveyards next to churches. Such a powerful reminder.
Collard greens done right.
Rocking to the sixties on satellite radio.
Watching Kathy relax and breathe deep.
Finding a last minute deal on Hotels.com that was a great deal.
Saying, "Good job!" to God as we drove through his creation.
Praying and reflecting.
Feeling the depths of God's love and care for me and those I love.
Frequent flier miles and credit card points that allow us to do what we might not otherwise be able to do.
Singing Bobby Sherman songs with my wife.
Walking two blocks to the ocean.
Buying carob chip cookies for my boys. It's a long story...
Finding a jar of our favorite 'Five Amigos Fire Roasted Pepper Salsa' in Ashville, NC. Another long story...
Hearing my wife say, "Natural landscapes are hard to maintain." ????
Seeing God's creativity in an unfamiliar place.
Coming home.
