Soooo...

My plane leaves for Pennsylvania at 6:00am on Sunday. Which means I have to leave my house at 4:30 in the morning since it takes about 40 minutes to get to the airport. Derek is not able to take me and so I am asking the community if anyone is willing to sacrifice sleep and Sunday morning in order to be at my apartment at 4:15 or so so that I can load up my luggage and be content that I will not miss my flight. I realize that this would be a spectacular act of grace and would be extremely grateful for any takers. Otherwise, I'll call one of those services that picks you up. Does anyone know of a reliable one?

Thanks,

Rod

Well Rod the problem is that my car won't fit you. If I borrow Susan's truck then I might be able to hook you up. This means that I'm going to go back home and sleep all day long and then go to church. Sounds like a day to me. So remind me about getting the truck on saturday at the wedding and I'll volunter for the drive thing.

Thanks. That would be cool. A second option is that we could drive my car to the airport, but that would require that you drive my car all the way back here in order to get yours back. Of course, you could take a long time getting the car back to our apartment since I won't need it until Saturday and I promise not to look at the odometer before I leave. :-) You'd also have to eventually get the keys back to Derek so that he could pick us up on Saturday when we return.

Are you a functional driver at 4:30 in the morning? I know I'm not so I'm just hoping that together we'll each be half awake and therefore make one competent driver.

I am a creature of the night. Many sundays I'm up till 4 or 5 in the AM. Then I sleep all day. It's my one day a week I can do that. As for functional, NEVER.

:-)

We'll take your car.

It is 4:20am and I am in a fog. I fell into loglike slumber at about 2:15 this morning and now I woke up to Benji tapping at my door.

Quoth the Rodney, "Nevermore!"

See you all in a week.

Rod
