If anyone needs/wants any of the following, they are welcome to them. It will have to be one of those 'first come/first served' type things and for the most part you will have to figure out how to haul it off since most of the things don't fit in my car.

- An off-white pillow backed sofa in pretty decent shape.
- A really cool telescoping office/computer desk that is too big to fit in the office/guest room of our new house and that I sort of hate to part with. If someone takes it, I'd like to have visiting privileges.
- A small gas grill that has seen a more than a few hamburgers.
- A washing machine that needs some new hoses, but otherwise worked okay.
- A dryer that needs nothing as far as I know. That is, until you put it in your laundry room.
- A fireplace tool kit.
- An overhead projector (does the Village need this?)
- Funky old music and sound equipment that someone besides me has to figure out what it does and why it does it.
- Some other assorted pictures and pillows and stuff like that.

All items are given as is with the understanding that it is possible that they will simply be large paperweights. Time is of the essence since I need to get this stuff out of the garage and if it isn't gone by early next week, I will call Teen Challenge and have them pick up whatever is left.

Call me at 907-1396 or e-mail me at the address below if you are interested in coming by to look at whatever you wish to look at. Don't depend on the fact that I procrastinate and probably won't actually get around to hauling it all off until a month or two from now. I know that is my reputation, but right now I am a motivated giver. It is all free for the taking so your only requirements are a need or want (needs have priority) and a way to get it where you'd like it to go.

What kinda funky music are we talking about? I assume you don't really mean George Clinton and James Brown. Are you talking about Leonard Nimoy's album, maybe? ;-) Or maybe it's the Andy Griffith album on which he does a cover of Don Maclean's "American Pie."

If the Village (or no one else) wants the overhead projector, I can always take it. I use one almost every day at school, and it would be nice to own one personally. AND it fits into my car, whaddya know.

One of those sentences has a funky negative in it (speaking of funky) but I'm not in the mood to fix it today. Should tell you what kinda week this English teacher is having...

Not music, Karen, music equipment. Besides, I'm a Doc Watson and Mother Maybelle Carter fan. I think a member of the ancient Rock the Desert Band used the equipment to create noises that made nice Christians squirm. It consists of computer type thingys with knobs and buttons and things that go whirrrrr in the night. Also there are some mic stands and such. Whatever Eric doesn't want you may have. I'll consider the overhead projector yours unless Eric raises a fuss.
