Before Benji runs off and marries Susan, all the male types in the community are invited to the Greens Apartments, 5800 North Kolb Road, for a bachelor party. There will be swimming, a jacuzzi, a big screen TV, movies, video games, and lots of food starting at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 5th. The Hugen clan is furnishing the food and drink (No booze or dancing girls). Probably barbeque and guy type snacks involving meat, meat products, and chips. For the sake of our friends who struggle, we'd like to keep it alcohol free.

The party will be in the recreation room of the complex. If you travel north on Kolb, the Greens is a couple of blocks north of Sunrise. Turn right (east) into the apartments and if you go straight you will run into the offices and the swimming pool and the room where the party will start. It is important that you not park under the covered parking because that irritates tennants and gets your car towed and kind of spoils the party atmosphere. It is also important that we not lose our deposit money so please don't break stuff. :-)

In order to keep the neighbors neighborly it would be good to sort of quiet things down after ten.

Thanks. And congratulations Benji!

(does anybody know how to put this on the calendar?)

Warning:
Rated R
for Possible Violence

You may want to also note that there "may" or "may not be" a late-night screening of "Kill Bill Volume 1" on the big screen TV. The movie is officially classified as "uber-violent," with a lot of blood that is "sans-circulatory system" and involves the killing of many people in unique and interesting ways. There will probably also be console games along similar genres (i.e., Unreal Tournament) If any of you would like to remain pure of impressions of this nature, you may want to be out of the room during those particular times. Maybe bring board games or go swimming. Or hang out with the food and those who do not happen to consider Quentin Tarantino "among the crowning achievements of western civilization" as I do. It's a personal choice.

I was just wondering if I was invited to this thing?

Oh and by the way, it's not actually for the sake of those who struggle that we won't be having alcohol. It's because I can't stand the stuff! :-)

PARTY PARTY!!!

Yes, you are invited. But don't let on. We want it to be a surprise. . . I could kidnap you that night and stuff you into the trunk of my car, like in the movie Jawbreaker. I don't see how that could go wrong.
