This is the last full week of the semister, and the time I take stock of the last several months of my life. Been a busy semister. I let COPE overdose me on my medication, giving me a scary look at an intensive care unit in the emergency room. It was a look at things to come if I do not quit smoking. Made me realize how much I want to live. How I am not ready to leave those I love. I moved into the St. Michael house. Good move there. My brother and I covered miles in our quest to build a relationship. God is opening the door for me to open a dialog with my daughter.
I tripped and fell into a big pile of crap. ( to use the polite word for it) I started a new job last week, and I start a 2nd job at 6 tomorrow morning.
I am addressing issues I have let sit for too long. This is my last semister as a community college student. In the fall I will officially be an ASU student.
As I prepare the letter to Jennifer ( my daughter) and experience the flood of emotions connected with it, I am in awe at the love of God. He has restored my brother to me, and is working to restore my daughter to me as well. God is doing these things because he loves me. No other reason. Perhaps I can speak of God to Jennifer and John both.
From the 2nd grade untill about the 9th grade, I played a coronet. My parents sold it so they could buy one of my brothers a guitar. I was so hurt, I have never wanted to pick up a brass insturment again. Last night I was wandering around, and stopped by a music store at broadway and swan. I realized I was looking at trumpets, and pricing them. I think I am going to buy one by the end of summer,and start learning how to play it again. One more hurt the Lord is healing.

Psalm 150:

Hallelujah!
Praise God in His sanctuary.
Praise Him in His mighty heavens.

Praise Him for His powerful acts;
praise Him for His abundant greatness.

Praise Him with trumpet blast;
praise Him with harp and lyre.

Praise Him with tambourine and dance;
praise Him with flute and strings.

Praise Him with resounding cymbals;
praise Him with clashing cymbals.

Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.
Hallelujah!

I could not have said it better me self. In a year I hope to praise him with a trumpet blast. That Psalm is perfect.
