Hi All!

I need to recycle our old washer and maybe our dryer.

So I'm wondering....

A) Does anyone need a working electric dryer with a worn-off dial before I recycle it?

B) Does anyone have a big truck I could borrow either on a Saturday morning, or we could trade vehicles and I could take the washer/dryer during the week and you could take my car (it's a stick-shift)?

Thanks guys! Feel free to call at 306-1194.

Layne

I don't have a big truck, but I have a 4x8 trailer which I can pull behind my Cherokee.

Have you tried posting to Craig's List, and to something called I've heard of called Freecycle?

Honestly, if you made an announcement in your high school classes, one of your student's families might take it. If you left it on the street in my neighborhood, our neighbors would probably be selling it at the swap meet the next weekend!! But I don't know if you want to go there.

Thanks Russ! I call in the next few days :)

And ya, I thought about freecycle and craigslist, but if I can take to be recycled at the scrap yard, they'll pay me. So that was my incentive for doing this because they don't work well, and freecycles, well, free...so I thought it might be nice to get a little cash out of this.
