Hey All :)
Many of you have either met or heard me talk about my student Fernando. His parents were deported back to Mexico just after Christmas, so he's been here with his brother since then finishing school.
Some of his friends have planned a car wash to try and raise some money for him since it's been very rough for him getting expenses paid off and finishing his senior year of high school.
His request was that I "share it with my people", meaning you all, which I thought it was adorable that he worded it that way (cuz that's how we talk about each other), and it's quite a big deal he even asked me to anyways.
SO! If you need your car washed and have some cash to give, here's the details:
Where: Burger King, 2520 E. Valencia (Tucson & Valencia right by the airport)
When: Saturday, May 28, from 9am - 3pm
