Many of you know that I moved into my own place about a month ago. I've been wanting to have people over, but have been busy with getting the place ready and getting settled into my new job. But according to Trizia, my place is looking too much together already, and I need to have my housewarming party quick! (I assume she wasn't able to pass this information on in time to Joel and Ryan...)
Anyway, I was thinking of having a party on Friday, September 30, maybe around 7 pm or so. A potluck of assorted snack-type things, but not a full meal, and some basic hanging out. This way, people will know where my house is (I heard it's easier to drop by someone's place if you know where it is).
What do ya think? Will anyone be around?

I'll plan on being there also. I'm up in Casa Grande for the weekend chillin' at this awesome little ghost town they call a city. I tried to find some good dancing tonight and found a good night of dj/dancing at Famous Sam's here. It was like being at a nightclub or somethin'. It was a little weird to have a dj/dancing at a sports bar. I mean, come on, it's Famous Sam's. There may be karaoke at Famous Sam's but this was a first for me. First impressions of this little city: a mix of country and cumbia dancers in an interesting mixer. Very interesting indeed.
I'll be flying back on my Cessna sometime before the party. Lacie, party on dude!!!!!!!!!!

OK. So we're not really that fantastic, but it's really fun to say in spanish [especially as a lover of languages who has thus far been unable to become fluent in any of the 3 I've tried... alas!]
Anyways, we'll be there if it's ok to bring the kids.
