Subject: Gas, Circle K, McDonald's, IHOP

I will always remember my co-worker Gary Brock from Sam Levitz. He was a driver while I was still a delivery helper. He told me the first time we were together on the same truck for that day his priorities for the order of stops that day. He pulled me aside before we left to start our deliveries after we loaded our truck with about $17,000 of furniture on it. I remember it like it was yesterday. Let me just say Gary is a great guy to work with. He's just not very motivated as much as I and other drivers were. He would say the reason he was not in any hurry was that he had no wife, girlfriend, or kids to take care of and get back to after work. In his words, he would say, "I got nothing but time, got nothing but time." So here's the order as he would tell all of our co-workers: First stop: Gas Second stop: Circle K Third stop: McDonald's Fourth stop: IHOP Fifth stop: Our first customer 's house whose load is at the rear of the truck. "So (James) where we headed? Remember, we don't set up anything on Friday or Saturday (assembly for customer). So just keep yo' mouth shut. Let me do all the talkin'."
