Moving into a new house is almost always a nightmare. Things you need are packed away in boxes you can't find. Things you don't need are cluttering up the spaces where you are trying to put things you do need. Moving the Village into our new worship space at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1200 North Campbell, has a little of that kind of feel to it. Especially because we are only renting the space instead of owning it. So there are some things you can do to help: First, pray, then pray some more, show up, show up and carry stuff (especially if you promised to), show up and put stuff back where you found it, clean up after yourself, clean up after your kids, clean up after the folks who forget to clean up after themselves, report breakage or damage to Eric or Rod, don't break stuff, say "thank you" to people who look like they might be Lutherans, say "I love you." to Eric when he looks stressed because things aren't working right, say "I love you." to Eric if by some miracle things actually go smoothly. Oh, and show up. And bring some friends. Or else. Dad(Rod)
