I wanted to write this yesterday, but I didn't have time.
On Thursday, I got up at 6:30am and raced over to the bagel shop to meet with Rod - of course he was late. Rod finally arrived at 7:15am.
Every Thurs. morning is Tribal Elders meet. It is a basic meeting. Rod and I get together and discuss what God is doing in the community - we cry a little, laugh a lot, and vent our frustrations.
At around 9:00am I leave Rod and race over to meet Dennis at the raging sage. The Raging Sage has good coffee, but they tend to be a little pricey. Dennis wasn't feeling all that great. He is getting over some kinda cold. At about 10:40am Dennis and I finish our coffee, and I head off to the church to pick up mics and mic stands for a late night recording session with Gary and Karen. Once I'm finished wandering around the church, I head home to find my bible study book so I can review my verses for my meeting with Chris. Chris and I meet for lunch at 12:30pm at the Clucking Chicken. Chris only has an hour for lunch - time flys, and we never get to the bible study. Chris and I say good bye, and head off to see how Benji is doing, but when I drive by his work, his boss is there and so I keep going.
Kristi had call earlier. She wanted an opinion on her blue and purple walls from sue, but sue wasn't around so I volunteered. On my way to Kristi's I stopped by the new begginnings church and got some of their propoganda and said hi to the pastor.
Kristi's house looks great!! I can't wait to see it when its all done.
I left Kristi's house and made it home by 3:00pm. I needed to reserve hotels rooms and a rental car for our trip to Boston, but mostly I spent the time frustrated with the stupid computer - our internet service is acting kinda strange lately.
I never did get the hotel and car thing taken car of. At around 5:15pm Sue and I dropped Ashton off at granny's house and head out to have dinner with Gary and Karen. We spent the rest of the evening with them eating and recording music for the Samuel project. Wow, Gary can really play the guitar. |
