Jesus and Food The longer I am a pastor, the more I am convinced that ministry best happens around food - around a table - around our stories. I believe that Jesus reveals himself most often in community, and community often is at its most powerful around food. The world, which includes us, is very lonely, and is looking for home. Many of us have never experienced a home and a family that was community together. The Village is a family and we have much to offer one another and the world. I long to hear stories of how you guys have had each other over for dinner, or how you have had your neighbors, workmates, and schoolmates over for dinner. Eric
