New Building: (55 N. 6th Ave.) We are waiting to get the keys to our space and estimates for what it will cost to have a contractor do the initial tear-down and build-out. Hopefully this should come in the next few days. Unfortunately, I don't have anymore info than that. I doubt we will be doing any work on it this weekend, but I will keep you updated. I know a lot of you are planning to go on different trips this month, so I'm asking that while you are in town that clear your schedule to help out at the Village. We'll be doing a lot of quick work to get the place ready and painted and all of our stuff moved over. Thanks. Vespers: Every so often I have to remind us all about the clique factor. If you find yourself clustered off in a corner talking to your friends about things that outsiders (new people) would not know about or feel included in, then it is time for you to look around and see what new people are floating around the edges or find someone you don't talk to very often. For example, single people, find some married folk to talk to and married people find some singles, etc. If I sit down in your little cluster and begin to act annoying, then you know for certain that it's time to look around and see who is being excluded. Philosophically, Vespers is a time for people to be invited into and enveloped by our community. Outside of Vespers is the place to form more tight-knit connections that you can then invite new people into. In either case, it's ultimately about hospitality. Pastor Eric Cepin
