I'm just a little lost here. Is Gary in a band or playing alone? Is there any info. at all or just a pic. of him playing?

The words in blue ("Gary's band") on Eric's blog are a link. If you click on them, you'll be connected to the website of his current band, complete with photos, a touring schedule, and a very nice background clip of Gary's guitar playing, etc.

Howdy Villagers! Thanks for your interest in my new band, I now expect to see you all at our next gig-book that airfare now. Yes, Massachusetts in December, this is where you all wanna be. That picture Eric posted is actually an old Buckshot Blu picture...sniff sniff. Aahh the memories. I must correct Suki, the background music that plays on our website was actually recorded before I was in the band, as are all the MP 3's on that site. Our My Space site has 1 new recording off our upcoming CD, the song "Mexico" is a new version http://myspace.com/ait. We hope to have the CD out in a month or so, we are working on mixing right now.
I miss AZ a lot, lots of great friends and family there. But I do feel like Karen and I are starting to thrive out here. In addition to my part time Rock Star position, I'm working full time in a medical billing position, putting that Pima College education to the test. Karen opened a small retail store in October with a partner, they sell antiques and other interesting furnishings as well as providing Karen a vehicle for getting interior design work. They are doing better than expected for a start up business, especially since it's "off season".
Spiritually, we've had our ups and downs, still recovering from the after effects of our years of spiritual abuse at the hands of the International Church of Christ, but great progress has been made in healing. We have been attending a different church since the last time I talked to any of you, it is a small church geared towards people who have given up on church but not God, loosely affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church....hmmm, sounds familiar! :-)

So, Merry Christmas to all you Villagers, I miss you and think of you often. Please keep us in your prayers, and we will do likewise.
Peace in Christ,
Gary G

Hee hee. Hey, Gary! I've been wanting to write back, but my computer time is currently based on the simultaneous satisfaction levels of a four-year-old and a 3-month-old, which are then boiled down and processed through a complex matrix of prioritized hopes, dreams, and basic survival skills.
It's so great to hear from you. We miss you a lot! I'm glad you guys are finding yourselves in a good fit, from the family re-connections to the church to the band to Karen's business. Sounds like good stuff.

-Sue

Well, I guess what you've missed is the past year in Tucson, which for us includes the birth of Elliott Montana on August 22. Isn't he cool? He's been great fun. Very mellow little guy so far.
