A REPRINT FROM LAST POSTCARD REGARDING ART NIGHT
Visual Arts Night: Recently, some of the artists at the Village gathered at the Seneca house to turn art night into a twice monthly creative bo-nanza. One of the objectives of the meeting was to brainstorm through ideas that would help artistic newbies along the way. To learn more about Visual Arts Night and the new Sunday a.m. Creativity Field Trips, visit villageartnight. The first scheduled event is Friday, Feb. 23 at Joel & Blanca's.

I'm attempting again to update the Village phone, address + email list. If your information has changed or if you have not been on the list before and would like to be, please email me your information [that you are willing to have handed out to other Villagers] or put your info on the hard copy of the list that will be passed around at church over the next few weeks.
Also, last time I sent out some electronic versions [pdf, word + text] to those who requested them. [Because of privacy issues, I won't post the list on the web anywhere and I only send e-lists to those of you who are actually on the list.] If you want an e-copy please email me a request.

THOUGHTS
Hey guys . . . a few of you have asked me why it is so important for me to call Scott Pallitto (Scott was referenced during a few of my sermons. I ask the Village to hold me accountable to call him). Scott was one of my good friends in high school. He helped me out of a very deep depression, and he kept me on the straight and narrow academically. He and I lost track of each other after high school. Recently I’ve felt like God was telling me to call him, and I have resisted that for about a year. A lot of my stubbornness is connected to being afraid of what he might think of me now, or that he might not want to talk to me.
For all of you who have asked me repeatedly if I’ve called him (Benji), I did call-but the only number I found was two years old - it was disconnected. I’m going to keep searching for his number, and I would appreciate your continued reminders that I need to call him.
