Bentley Baptism From D. Wevodau Hello Community of Mine! We draw near to the joining of two who will become one. I wanted to remind you of the party on Saturday, January 3rd at the Cromer's house for Erin and myself. We will potluck like it's 2009 and the festivities will begin at 6:30 pm. We are revolving around the Mexican food theme, so please try to keep your food contributions close to this (i.e. salsa, chips, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, drinks...). You can call me with any questions @ 714.261.3403. There will be a sheet that will be past around church so you can sign up for what you might want to bring and also see what others of already bringing. Thanks! Daniel Building Report As many of you know, by the end of January, the Village will no longer meet at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. This means that we need to find another temporary place to meet while we look for a building of our own. At this moment, we have an approximate $400,000 available to us toward the purchase of a space for our community to meet and function. We currently have neither a temporary meeting place nor a building to purchase. This is where you can be a big help! Every Monday, the pastors' lunch will be transformed into the Building Discussion Cohort and Planning Committee. Come to this group to offer your thoughts and research on building options. More importantly, we need you to be our hands and feet in the larger community of Tucson. We are trying to create a master list of possible places to purchase. Also, if you have any connections to pastors in town who may have space in their buildings for us to meet on a temporary basis, please connect them with Rod or Eric.
