First, please do not panic after reading this update. The Muse Community Art Center has always struggled with its ownership. It has changed hands many times and often seems to be in a power struggle of some sort. The recent manager, "TIG", has worked hard to bring a sense of organization and sanity to the building. Unfortunately, just recently one of the owners of the building withdrew his "good-faith" name from the electric security deposit at TEP. That meant that Tig had to take over the account. Her organization, ARTFARE, does not have a long enough history in Tucson to have the electric security deposit waved. The Muse cannot afford the deposit. It is 15,000 dollars. At this point there are three options to prevent the Muse from closing. The First is we come up with the fifteen thousand dollars, the second is someone with a good reputation in the community put up their name as being willing to pay the electric bill if its not paid, and the final options is the deposit is waived. It is very possible for the deposit to be waived, but some pressure is going have to be put on our friendly Gov. officials. So, I am asking the Village to do two things - The First is pray and fast for this particular situation. Ask God to intervene at the Muse. Second, I am asking you to call and email Fred Ronstadt. Please let him know that you are impacted by this decision, and that you want TEP to waive the security deposit. Mr. Ronstadts Phone # is: 791-4601 and his email address is: Ward6@tucsonaz.gov.
I want to stress to you that God is in control. I firmly believe that he moved us to the Muse because he has great plans for our future at the Muse. I am not concern about where we will meet next. God will see us through to the end. He has always taken care of us. Amen!

Pastor Eric
