The "Fairmount House" Warming Party (the new Home of Lacie Morrison) - 3728 E. Fairmount St. #2. Begins at 7pm on Friday Sept 30, 2005.

Driving Directions: I live on Fairmount between Dodge and Alvernon just north of Speedway. So, if you're coming from Speedway and you travel north on Dodge, you turn right onto Fairmount - it's the second street. About half way between Dodge and the next street, Winstell, is my house on the south side. It's a small white southwestern style house, facing east. people can park in front of the house without blocking the driveway, and along the fence and the street. My house is in front of the main house, and the owners asked me to make sure that we don't block the driveway to the back. Need more info: call 4448810

Celebrating Life" Art Show and Barbecue at the Seneca House
This is going to be a big party. Grab some flyers and hand them out to your friends. Cheryl's art will be on display, great food will be available, and Buckshot Blu is going to perform. It all starts at 2 pm on October 8, 2005 at the Seneca house. Come celebrate the rebirth of Cheryl and learn a little bit more about her life.
Important Announcements:
1) Joining the Village: Every year we take some time to explain the Village, its values, and why we do what we do. This conversation is followed by a belonging service. Each year we doing something different to announce that the Village is going to be our spiritual home for the year - one year each person put a rock in bowl and the year before that people put their hands in paint and pressed them against a canvas. This year Rod and I have shortened the conversation from a six week process to a two week process. This Sunday at Vespers Rod will finish the book of second Samuel and the following two weeks will be dedicated to the discussion of what it means to join or belong to the Village. More info will be available on Sunday.
2) Baptism: If you are interested in being Baptized, please talk the Rod or Eric.
