Hi, Everybody! We forgot to announce on Sunday that Visual Arts Night is happening this Friday: 6:30 at the Muse, February 24. Bring a project to work on and a friend. The next Men's Smackdown will happen on Friday, March 12. Our apologies for not holding the post-Vespers writers' meeting this past Sunday. We are hoping to utilize more writings from within our community in the context of worship, including essays, creeds, poems, and prayers. This may be accompanied by music, as the Psalm readings have been lately, or they may be incorporated in some other way. Please be thinking about what this might look like at the Village. A Village magazine re: religion and culture is also in the works for distribution in and around the 4th Avenue area. Be thinking about how you might like to contribute! On the evening of March 5, the Village will be hosting a mini-conference for people from across the state who are involved with the CRC (Christian Reformed Church denomination). You're welcome to come if you'd like to hear Rod & me tell the story of the Village and join in a time to worship God, as well as interact with people who have supported us along the way in our mission. --Pastor Eric
