from Hawaii. I meant to send out an e-mail before we left for Hawaii. Then I meant to do it on the first day here. Then I forgot what day it was for a long time. Now its Saturday night and I'm too lazy to look up all the right e-mail addresses and compose an e-mail.
I know that whoever is on for kids is perfectly capable of coming up with something at random. But that isn't the point! A plan had started and was waiting on me to get publicized.
So anyway, 2 Sundays ago, we started doing a series of lessons illuminating the Lord's Prayer. If you are on for this Sunday (probably "today" in Tucson) then you may just want to do something random. But if you want to do the next part of the Lord's Prayer then ask Trizia which part is next.
The format is simple:
Review the Lord's Prayer
Host a brief explation/discussion of your part
Do a corresponding activity if you can
Go play in the nice spring weather (balls & other outdoor stuff might be a fun change --- bubbles might be good too...)
So far we have done:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
So I'm thinking the next part is: "Give us this day our daily bread."
Sounds like discussion of "daily needs" to me. Perhaps pointing out that some people don't feel this need as strongly as others. Is there some way to fit in fresh, warm bread? OK, maybe I just like using good food for as many lesson applications as I can!
