The good news: God has blessed us with a job. It is a contract programming engagement in Phoenix. It starts out 3-4 months, but may be extended.

The bad news: We have to be in Phoenix for me to work there. We are moving out of our apartment today and moving into some temporary housing there. We hate to be so far from everyone, but the long term plan is to use these contract positions to keep us nearby (sort of) until we find permanent work that allows us to live in Tucson. I have a couple of long term leads for this, and will keep everyone posted.

Our intent is to be back in church on Sunday evenings at least once a month in the mean time.

Thanks everyone for making us feel at home the Village. We feel part of the community, and will keep in touch.

Larry and Lindy

This is awesome that you have a job. Sad, that you will be so far away. But looking forward to seeing you when we can. Prayers will always be with you.

Congrats, Larry and Lindy!

I've been missing you two and I'm glad you get to stay in AZ. I'm praying with you that you will be hired to do work by telecomute. In the meantime - safe travels and good health.

Hi Larry & Lindy,

I work for a software company here in Tucson, for which I write the documentation; I also do some in-house graphic design work. There are currently five positions available in Tucson you may want to check out: software developers, implementation analysts, quality control, that sort of thing. If you have development experience with HTML/CSS as well as VB or .NET, that would be a huge plus... I know they are looking for someone to develop Web-based database applications based on an existing VB .NET system.

For more info, go here.

E-mail me if you want more info on the company and/or decide to apply. There is a referral incentive program. :-)

Good luck! (Or providential blessings, if you happen to be a good Calvinist.)

Ryan
