Thoughts on a Moment Past
9-1-03, by Derek Hugen
that's not a problem
there is no problem
it's not a problem
if the solution solves the problem
and then it isn't a problem
and wasn't a problem
and couldn't be a problem
because there is no problem
because the solution solved the problem
unless you are proposing that
this moment in time having lapsed
over eleven seconds ago
is reality
and we are not
or perhaps the entire relativity
of thought is related strictly
and loosely to our relative thought
and then
and then
and then
i must counterpose
i am hardly a relative
of myself some fourteen forgotten seconds past
and should not be judged
on such an unknowledgeable incarnation
of me these seconds past
when i thought it was a problem
which was not a problem
or where at a later date
it had been appended to my understanding
but now i have forgotten
what the question was
and i must be reminded of it
before
i am no longer
myself
but a distant relativity
of me . . .
don't question my logic
it's mine
you can't have it. |
