The Artist/Lover
That Advanced Art Student,
Who birthed us in multimediaed dust and breath,
Made us as Himself,
Clothed in artful beauty,
And allowed Himself,
In the effect of artist,
To be affected by creation,
And with His artful wooing, brought us
Into the beauty of His artistic vision,
And the vision of His Artist eyes.
Yet we turned away from out Artist/Lover,
To those still-life fruits of knowledge,
And we created from something
Our more ergonomic nothing
Fashioned from single medium of dust
And we lost a larger vision.
Once, I read a book which described Adam as perfect man,
Perfect goodness,
Perfect intellect,
Perfect understanding.
I do not see Adam as perfect lover,
Except as molded by perfect love.
No perfect goodness,
No perfect intellect,
No perfect understanding,
Only loved by perfect lover
And breathed by perfect breath.
Adam himself may be an awkward, buch-toothed idiot,
We do not know.
We only know his Artist loved him beautifully,
And beautifully walked with him
Through Eden's garden trails
And paradise of perfection,
In whatever form.
So let us delight in multimedia
And trust the Artist/Lover
For as lover we may not understand,
Yet as artist,
We undercoat our color complimentary
To give perspective to our art
And to gain a larger vision. |
