Responses Karen: Your update (7/10/09) corwithani: safe (7/10/09) Responses (sorted by date) corwithani: safe (7/10/09) Karen: Your update (7/10/09) hi Tucson community from antigua, guatemala. it has been a crazy trip so far and it's only just begun... we have ended up having to stay in guatemala a week later than expected because of the craziness that's been going on in honduras. last week if you weren't aware, their president was kidnapped and the army is trying to still keep him out of the country. anyway, so it's now a week later and I actually really don't know the latest news on the situation - I just know that we are indeed going to be traveling through honduras to get to nicaragua. we are headed out in an hour-ish to head to guatemala city, then a bus ride down to el salvador where we will spend the night. tomorrow we have a 12 hour bus ride to get to nicaragua. but yeah, we will be going through honduras so I just would like to ask for your specific prayers for our safety. there are 37 of us that are headed on this crazy venture. thanks so much and know that I check this site still to see what the happenings are in tucson. :) miss you!!! keep up with my blog if you like. http://corismith.theworldrace.org
