I, Cori Smith, daughter of the King, have a gift that I would like to claim. The discovering of this gift came the summer I was in Indonesia... I think it can be summarized as a gift of faith although it gets even more specific.

Many of you heard the story of our girls praying for Ibu Norimah's legs to be healed of arthritis. She couldn't sit with her legs folded or squat or kneel to pray. We asked if we could pray for her in the name of Isa Almasi, Jesus the Messiah.

She said yes, we put hands on her, our translator talked with her for a few minutes about who Isa Almasi is, and then we prayed. I had my hands right on her knees, and could feel some stuff going down as she was being prayed for. After our prayer, she is talking nonstop so the translator couldn't translate. She keeps moving her legs this way and that... she insists we come back every day and continue to pray for her, which she did. Immediately she was able to sit cross legged and could squat a little bit. Eventually she could completely kneel down.

WOW!!

Fast forward to about a week ago. I am at training for the World Race. We just heard a sermon about the Holy Spirit and healings, and then are in small groups and are asked to pray for people. My friend Taylor explains that his left knee hurts when he runs.

I initiate with him and the other group to pray for his healing. It was very similar to the experience in Indo. I was on the same side of him as I was Norimah physically. My hands were on his knees and I REALLY felt stuff moving this time, holy cow.

As far as I know he was completely healed. He immediately felt a huge difference and felt all of the rumblings in his knee as well.

...Fast forward to now. We have a woman in our community with red hair; she's a new creation. Kelsea is her name. She currently can't move her legs.

I do not know if it is coincidence that I have prayed for healing in people's legs, but it's kind of cool.

I will be in Tucson from May 15th to the 23rd, and Kelsea will be there also assuming nothing changes.

I'd like to pray for healing in her legs!!! I know that this has been done before, by both you and me, but I'd like to do so again.

Not sure if the elders are meeting on Wednesday, May 20th or not but perhaps that would be a good time??

I think it'd be sweet if you would pray right now for a couple of things:
1) whether you'd like to be a part of praying for Kelsea
2) pray for Kelsea's circulation to be restored NOW
3) pray for the night of May 20th (which could change)

OK, this was a long enough post for now...

Let me know your thoughts and if you'd like to be a part!!!
