For a while now, I have been longing to go door to door and as the neighbors down Cloverland for prayer requests and leave cards for the Village. Amy and I did this last Saturday. We got some prayer requests, learned a lot about the neighborhood our church is in, and got to pray for a few people right on the spot and talk about the Village. There is a lot of need for the light of Jesus in the neighborhood that our church is in and for our neighbors to have some light shined on them from us. If you would like to pray for some people in the neighborhood or to no better how to pray for the neighborhood, please talk to me about it and I will give you specifics. I plan to go back through the neighborhood in about a week or two to follow up with requests and maybe to expand and to get some houses of people who were not home. Please pray as we reach out to our neighbors. |
