"I love you," uttered by a father
Throw me aside,
I feel the push
That always comes
With each neglectful act.
Why say it;
Why utter the words
That are empty,
Floating in space
With no end,
No beginning?
They mean nothing
Without action behind,
And your actions,
The opposite of the
Very words-
Death words
Ready to pierce.
They should be
Life words,
But they have
Become death to me
Because of your deeds.
No more words,
You have left me,
Called me a liar,
But I will live
Without you by my side. |
