Subject: All I need

Praise God. I had a really crazy day full of attack from Satan and random people and just the realization of being surrounded by darkness. It was heavy on my soul today. It has been a heavy couple of days. I really did not have a chance to stop to take a breathe today which I am trying to stop. I am trying to take my lunch on a regular bases, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. But I am amazed. God gave me all I needed to get through the day. And after some time with Him I feel able to face some challenges ahead for this weekend. Psalm 23 in the NLT says "The Lord is my Shepherd. I have everything that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows. He leads me besides peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths bringing honor to His name. Even when I walk through the dark valley death I will not be afraid for You are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me...." I have found this to be so true. I go through the day and I am completely exhausted from the time in the battle and in the dark valley, but if I take the time to get quiet with Him and listen, read and study His word He renews my strength and lets me rest by peaceful streams. And He always gives me just what I need to get through each day - giving me my daily bread - not only physically to eat, but spiritually and emotionally and mentally of Him being my bread to survive. When I do not meet with Him by the stream, I am much more out of sorts, frazzled, and break down. But He is always right there waiting for me wherever I am to protect, comfort me and renew me. I thank and praise God for all He does. It is just so amazing and He actually wants us so near and dwells in us.
