Subject: aftermath of 29th

The day after I turned 29th. Is it just me or does pizza taste better the day after? Today has been one of those days where I just can't seem to find a reason to just "be". On days like this I just go through the motions of the day and try to move from one thing to the next to avoid facing the emptiness. Of course there are always those times when you are stuck in traffic and nothing on the radio seems to satisfy your hunger for answers or even provide good distraction. You are face to face with yourself and no where togo. For a moment everything seems strange, even my own hands on the steering wheel. Stuck in a world which was not meant for us, with a mind and body that often works to only make a fool of myself. I probably should know better, after all I am 29th (I have the pizza to prove it). My only hope is no hope at all. No hope in myself or the world around me. I am finally aware of the hoplessness of life, only the hope in the utter and complete dependace in the big guy called God.
