Why is this a volume do you ask? Well the answer is that if this blog gets to big then I will start another one. Anywho, Susan and I have arrived safly. I just went in for a job interview this afternoon and who knows, I might get the job. It would be for a sign company which is apperently very sucessful. They are busy busy busy. Ironically the person who is being replaced is moving to Tucson AZ to go to Pima for the vetrinarian program there. She was there last week (MIDDLE OF AUGUST) and loved it.

Susan is looking into secritarial or office work. We'll keep you guys posted on how our job hunting progresses. We would really like to get jobs soon so that we can start living in our own place.

My youngest niece Talia at only 4.5 months is starting to scoot herself around and is remarkibly close to crawling. Granted she only gets about two feet an hour, but at that age its really amazing.

I have been doing some photography here and have some really cool looking stuff. I'll try to post it when I can but I can't from this locked down computer at the library.

Miss you all

Benji Park

I think Susan should get a job teaching High School math.

Yeah - I heard she's probably qualified.

Nice pics, Benji. I particularly liked the red leaf.

That's what I'm here for. Let me know if you need more helpful suggestions, i.e., you could join the army. Or how 'bout you try becoming an astronaut? I've heard other companies beside NASA are trying to get into the space travel market. Now is a great time to get in on the ground floor. After all, the sky is the limit . . . bwaa haa haa!!

Hey Benji! Very nice pix. They (along with the work of the other artists in the village) are really inspiring. I'm not sure but maybe part of this blog actually belongs under Sue's. Cos I really likes the idea of the villagers coming together to conspire on some kind of creative project together... like a village chapbook or art mag. We certainly have the talent for it. I agree with Derek... someone needs to pick up a whip. Hey, maybe that's your employment opportunity! Oh, right, you need to eat. And possibly feed Susan too. Drat.

Well, you can always do what I did... get a job not entirely unlike what you love, and then be their internal graphic designer.

Coming from someone who works FT and would LOVE to spend 20 hours a week doing art, no need to rush in the employment area. Ramen can go a long way, I hear. :-)

Hi Benj,

Your pictures are fantastic. I would love to see more like that. So, today was the day to hear back from Lowes, right? Any luck?

I'm thinking you must have placed that leaf in the middle of the stone; it was too perfect ;-)

Hi to both of you.

It actually rained here this weekend, not even a monsoon rain, just a long, almost drizzly rain.

Miss you guys...

Emily was playing Mars Hill songs on her banjo at 1 a.m. Friday night. Seattle meets...I don't know what.

Of course I placed that leaf just right. If I hadn't we wouldn't have had that beutiful picture. Lone figure on bleak background and all that other artsy crap.

Anywho I am in the process of seeing if I can reform the curch I'm going to into a more village like place. Of course I'm going to utterly fail but what the hey...

Out of the blue last week Anna said, "I really like Susan Park." When I reminded her that you guys moved up "to where Brian and Sarah live," she got pretty sad.

We miss you.

Hi Benji & Susan!!:

Nice close-up photos that could be taken anywhere. That red leaf was placed in the center of the stone square as it was probably the same one as the one in the pic next to the ground bolt. Was that a stone sidewalk you took of? Good to hear you may be getting a J-O-B, particularly the one who is moving here. That is funny (ironically speaking)!! Was led on a mission by God to help someone get out of a bad situation here and move over to his sister's in Mass. by driving 4 days across the country. We called it Dave & Andy's Excellent Adventure! Got back a week ago last Mon. He could not find work here plus a pressing situation that was dragging him down. He could not have made it without me and I got to see the New England area for the first time cheaply, sort of. I think Mike B. will know what Andy I speak of--we all used to be co-workers of the same place. It came pretty sudden and is heavy how it was confirmed to him that he would have someone to help him make it. Got to make a surprise visit at my parents' in Ohio on the way over, see Cape Cod Bay, Plymouth Rock Harbor, Kennebunkport, ME, and America's Stonehenge south of Manchester, NH on the two days I stayed afterward. This was a good scouting trip for re-assessing my planned vacation for that area and will have to make it two weeks to see all I have planned for there!! Hope this is not too long, Eric. So these are blogs! Dave Eschhofen
