Christian Family Care and yours truly is one of the collaborating agencies in the planning of “Awakening” Reconciliation Conference occurring June 6-June 8th. Attached is the flyer with more information on the conference. The conference is about bringing unity and reconciliation of the body of believers in worship, appreciation of culture, and learning together how to bring the cultures of Tucson together. Thursday night, June 6th, concentrates on worshiping the Lord together and celebrating the ministries to Him in Tucson.
On Thursday June 6th, there will be a processional of local churches and ministries. This event is held at 7:30pm at Fountain of Life Family Center. I would love a few to join me representing The Village; while we are announced, our mission statement and logo will be shown on a slide show.
Please also consider checking out the rest of the conference. Saturday morning workshop at 9am at the Sheraton Hotel on Grant is geared toward youth and discusses the fact that attitudes have the most to do with sucess; it is a free workshop.
The conference is an uplifting conference that Christian Family Care has been a part of for these past two years. We are hoping that this conference goes well to honor Pastor Ollie Wills, the founder of this conference, as he passed away Sunday morning.
