I would like to invite you all to a professional, free play that Christian Family Care is bringing to Tucson. This play is about something I love to talk about, the need for the body of Christ to step into the life of foster children. We all can touch the life of a child, whether by being a foster or adoptive parent, or in another way. This play discusses this issue near and dear to my hear. Here is the description:
"Through the eyes of a new social worker, you will be exposed to the world of abandoned, at-risk, and orphaned children. Experience various theatrical elements including narrative story, music, dance, media – all will engage the audience as they experience the concepts of mentorship, adoption, foster care, and aging-out. To reinforce the emotional journeys of the characters, a series of “passengers” accompany the at-risk children."
The play is FREE and going to be in town for two nights. On Nov. 2nd at 7pm, it will be at Victory Worship Center. On Nov. 3rd at 6pm, it will be at Pantano Christian Church. Please tell your friends about this play and help us get the word out about the need. You can let us know you will be there by registering at this site: www.cfcare.org/a-life-connected/ There is also a trailer at that site. Thanks! |
