I got the second phone call lately offering us a baby to foster. AGAIN, we had to turn down the little one who we would desperately love to foster because we don't have a simple piece of paper from the state saying we are officially ok'd by the state of AZ to provide foster care. I hate saying 'no' when it is my heart's desire to say yes and give some love to a little baby.

My heart was also breaking yesterday as I got an excited call from a coworker to work with a new client...it feels like God is going to keep throwing the adults at me but will we get to care for the babies? Will one ever be called ours? I had a screaming prayer last night to God (with Ryan); it feels like tortue to work with the clients now due to the pain in my own heart but they need love too...

Please extend some prayers our way as we keep battling through infertility.

Andrea, you must have something very special to offer the adults. I'd like to invite you to muse and share what that might be.

Hugs and prayers

Trizia

For those of you who didn't hear, we are being presented to birthparents tomorrow in the afternoon for a possible adoption of their birth son (now 1mo old). I am not going to provide details here, but we would like to ask for your prayers. The agency is hoping to know by Wednesday morning who among the 3 (only 3!) adoptive couples that the birth family wants to pick, meet, have a long-term relationship with, etc. Please join us in asking the Lord for his hand in which family is picked, that it would be the best choice for this little boy, that if we are picked, that the birth family would fall in love with us and that we would fall in love with them, and that the Lord will prepare the way to spiritually blessed time together with our eyes on Him as well as the needs of this little one.

Thanks and we'll let you know what happens!

We found out this morning that the birth parents selected another family, one that lives in Phoenix. They are having a meeting with taht family today. This news was a downer but we'll still be glad that God led the birth family to the best family.

I'm really really proud of you two for putting yourselves out there for this kid. (Or I should say, for those kids...)

Save that letter you came up with. I think you might need it again!!

Praying for a foster baby, soon... KEB the WP
