So remember a couple years ago when Rod (I think it was Rod, forgive me, Eric, if it was you!) did the sermon about creation and he told the story and we all did the art and then passed them around to each other... and we continued to add our own art on top of someone elses. Eventually (Yes it was Rod!) Rod made a slideshow with all the pieces of art to that song and it was REALLY cool. I loved that.

So this piece of art I started. :) And I totally remember thinking about how I couldn't draw and why was my pastor making my weakness out there in the open... I just felt so inadequate- especially around such amazing artists.

So I took my colored pencils and tried to demonstrate Earth in the arms of our Father. So you can see (behind the other wonderful art!) the slight pencil sketch of God holding the globe and the light of the sun illuminating the picture.

Anyway, I have been looking at that picture all week thinking about how it looked familiar when I realized I had started it. :) So I thought I would share.

So the picture I am talking about is the "Social Servants" on the front page.

Ahh, yes. That was a stress producing assignment. :)

You can even now go to the video library here on our site and see the video Eric put together using that song you referred to and your creativity. Very fun.
