I've thought about responding a couple times because I have kids and worry about sexburn (its kinda like sunburn - it happens with overexposure...) but I couldn't settle on where to start.
So I just decided to say:
I'm sorry that sad stories like these are so common.
I'm sorry that reality means I'm making plans for my kids "live with it" rather than believing we can somehow avoid overexposure.
I'm sorry that people feel the need to be exhibitionists.
I'm sorry that other people have to tell the world all about it as if it were "news".
I'm really sorry that its so interesting to 8-year olds (it would be to mine, even though she in not traumatized, just curious...).
