20 "Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God."
I have been thinking about this lately. Sabbath. Sure, I spend time with God most days. My most treasured experiences are when I dive into His word and I can hear him speaking to me, but a Sabbath? An entire day? In our "lengthen your day world", where is there time to take a day and offer it to Christ?
I am wondering what God is welcoming me into with Him? I am just wondering what it looks like to have a day devoted to God?
To be honest, I think the Mormons might have something when they don't purchase on Sunday and spend the day with family.
I get excited when I think of having a sign between God and me. :) He must want something so much more for my family.
What are your Sabbaths like? How do you devote a day to the Lord in the chaoticness of your life? |
