So yeah I had another baby. :) He was born on Christmas day at 2:40 PM. He was 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 3/4 inches. We arrived at the hospital at 11:30 AM- so things went pretty quickly! I did it drug free again- not sure why I like to inflict pain on myself when there is a way to avoid it... :) Recovery has gone very well...
It took us awhile to official name him, but Clayton Matthew finally won over. Clayton is David's great grandfather who was a man of noble faith. And Matthew means gift from God. So it seemed right- God giving us a gift on the day we celebrate the birth of His son to name him this way. :)
If you want to know how you can pray...
Bentley is really struggling with this new adjustment. My mom is in town helping and every time she takes him to change a diaper or play he just sobs. He sobs in the night. He pretty much cries unless we (David and I) are playing with him. It's really breaking my heart to see him so upset. So I am quickly learning how to set aside special Bentley time. I really didn't think he would be so thrown off by the baby... but it does make sense. Bentley and I haven't been apart for more than a couple hours... ever... and I do everything for him all day every day, so to have others around helping and me not doing everything is hard on him. So yeah, just pray that we would show him and love him in a way that he realizes HOW MUCH we absolutely love him. And that he would feel that love.
