How many other people had to answer a tie-breaker question?
Mine was, which of the following do you prefer:
1 Interpretation is an intrinsic feature of the fabric of the universe.
2 There is a spiritual side to being human.
... which I had a really hard time with because of this Modern Physics class I took in college that opened my eyes to what that first sentence might mean/imply ...
If I had chosen #1, I would have been a POSTMODERNIST. Here is the given definition:
Postmodernism is the belief in complete open interpretation. You see the universe as a collection of information with varying ways of putting it together. There is no absolute truth for you; even the most hardened facts are open to interpretation. Meaning relies on context and even the language you use to describe things should be subject to analysis.

Subject: Ties

I had to answer that same tie breaker, except the statements were reversed. The problem with the test is that all of us that are members of the church believe in God and, thus, the value of spirituality. I am a little suprised though that there aren't a few more fundamentalists amung the ranks. Anyway, I think I still have Eric's "Cultural Creatives" book somewhere. It's binding is shredded though. Basically, we're spiritually and environmentally friendly, don't fit in, and think differently. One of the main things I remember from the book were stories of how much family reunions suck. We don't value the things our parents, grand-, etc., value. Therefore, we are failures with our lives. Uh, my meds are finally kicking in hard. Must make it to bed before collapsing into . . .
