My parents are moving to town for a year, on furlough from working with Campus Crusade in Germany, doing Bible studies and marriage seminars. Can you donate or loan them anything to help them set up house? You could get it back when they leave, which will be a year from now. Here is what they need:
Kitchen table
Chairs
Bedside tables
LAMPS - tall or short
drawers / cabinets / hutch type stuff for clothes
Easy chair
Desk chair
small table / magazine rack (to go next to a chair)
rugs
extra counter surface / thin table for kitchen area (kitchen is quite small)
High Chair (for grandchildren)
Microwave
Hand Mixer
Rice cooker
Pots and Pans, cookie sheets, bread pans, 9x11 pan, etc
pasta / veggie strainer
silverware
serving spoons, spatulas, etc
spices
tupperware
plates, bowls, glasses
mixing bowls
Large towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, wash cloths
Oven Mitt(s)
Pillows
Patio (outside) chairs / table
garden hose
dog dish, water bowl for large dog
Single, double or queen bed or fouton (for visiting family / friends)
Right now I do have couches and a desk, but they are pretty worn out so let me know if you have couches to loan / give.
They plan to buy a bed for themselves because my dad needs a specific kind for his back.
Thanks everyone!
