True story.
A Yosemite Park Ranger is observing a group of tourists observe a bear eating something or other a few hundred yards away. The tourists are all safely by their cars, and one woman is painstakingly applying honey to her son's face.
The Ranger approaches, and asks the obvious question: why, indeed, are you putting honey on your son's face?
The woman replies matter-of-factly: because I want to get a picture of the bear licking it off his face.
That's right. Licking it off his face.
The Ranger still has nightmares, apparently, about what would have happened had he not showed up.
