This web site is such a blessing. It is so for many reasons but I am thinking of one in particular. This website allows me the chance to see how much God has done in me since I have been here. He has done a lot. I went back and read some of my first posts when I came to The Village and at first it really made me shudder, there is that sense of regret of things that you said because you didn't understand what you understand now. But heck, I can go back to what I said just a couple months ago as I experienced a true dark night of the soul and feel that same sense of shame.

Once I allow myself the grace to move past those initial feelings there are other things that I notice. I notice that what Paul wrote in Philippians 1:6 rings true in my own life, "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus". Not only that but the testimonies of the saints, of Paul but also of Peter and others. To see them in their beginnings and to see where God took them. It is easy to want to believe that these changes just happened overnight but they didn't. They happened over years time.

This last Friday some of us got together over at Seneca house and I expressed how I wished I could have been around in the beginning of this church. I needed Jesus so badly when I was in my early 20's and a place like this would have helped me so much. Having said that though I have no regret. I trust that Jesus knew what he was doing and there are reasons that I wasn't here. I also thank him to be at The Village now, when so many exciting things are happening. When more and more folks like me are finding this ministry and are being fed. I am so glad that I have the chance to keep telling my story to anyone who will listen. God is doing amazing things within me, as messed up as I was an am he is still loving and amazing and he will carry on his good work to completion.

Thank you Jesus.
