To any who may be interested...
I don't really know anything much about Bluegrass but this is supposed to be a pretty good band...
On Friday, May 26th, a bluegrass band called JustNTime will be performing at El Camino Baptist Church. Tickets are $5.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door. For information call 751-2015.

Are you going, Krysti? If so, count me in. That is my last day of work. And that would be my 4th live musical show in the month of May (current projected tally).

That sounds like fun. I hope there's some old time stuff mixed in. A always like the unflinching lyrics like:
"You better believe and understand,
Before Satan takes your hand.
Well, he's gonna take you
But it ain't gonna be to the promised land."
Probably the same guy who was earlier singing about how his lover was unfaithful so he had to kill her and then head off to get hanged. And all to a tune that makes you think you should be dancing a jig....
Jeff and I will go if others are going. We like jigs. Even dark jigs.

It's a weekend that I have the girls but I'd probably be able to swing it. At least it's pretty cheap!!!
If anyone wants me to buy tickets in advance let me know ASAP and we'll do it the cheapest way possible.

Subject: Yeah, that's right...

I don't know which bluegrass band I heard on KXCI playing a cover of Hendrix's "Hey Joe" ("Hey Joe, where ya going with that gun in your hand?" with the exact subject you just described) It was a good cover.
Speaking of bluegrass, don't forget about the folk festival this weekend, if you're interested. (All 13 of you reading this blog who are actually in Tucson.) El Presidio Park, Saturday and Sunday, be there or be... well, I'll try to be there. At least for some of it ;-)
