Hm, I wonder what she's up to now? Hanging out w/MLK and Pope John Paul II and Johnny Cash, perhaps. Getting ready to celebrate Reformation Day w/Luther. C.S. Lewis, in "The Great Divorce," imagined the trip to heaven as being like a bus ride. If it is a bus, I bet Rosa sat down on it!

I suppose you mean "shotgun" figuratively speaking, since the shotgun seat on a bus is, technically, the doorwell. I always wanted to pull that big lever myself, though. I picture you more halfway hanging out the window, anyway. Does the bus driver to heaven (like my school bus driver in Tennessee) play country AM radio? Personally, I hope it's not the "Focus on the Family" station ;-)
